Pleasant litrpg with interesting fantasy world
I really enjoyed this litrpg. Less stats and abilities than is usual for the genre, but more "magic-physics" . The worldbuilding is good. The characters and dialogs are acceptable.
The protagonist is not overpowered, yet. There are some real challenges he has to overcome. I hope he will not become overpowered, despite the trend at the end of part 1.

Guter Start einer neuen Serie
Interessanter Universum, welches der Autor hier geschaffen hat. Der MC ist zum Glück kein Trottel, wie in vielen anderen Serien. Der Aufbau ist gut und mit genügend Informationen ausgestattet. Allerdings wird es ab dem 3. Drittel etwas träger und es kommt nicht mehr viel Progress hinzu.
Außerdem werden noch weitere Gefahren und eine größere Welt hinter der aktuell bekannten erwähnt, was definitiv nochmal etwas mehr Lust macht.
Auf jeden Fall eine Serie für 5/5 Sterne.
Ich bin auf die nächsten Teile gespannt.

really well done

Dam good
If the VA, who is godlike in my opinion, is not enough for you to try the book, than let me tell you, it's your miss. The story is great, the Mc is op but not to op and you smile most of the time. What do you want more?

One of my new favourite series!!
The book ist greatly written!
I love the story and the characters in it. Everything fits well together and you are not able to predict which direction the story is gonna take.
I was totally addicted to the first book and had to listen every spare moment I had. For the second book it was exactly the same and now I have to wait for the third one. Which im looking forward to a lot.
I like the creative world building that took place in the story as well how the power of the main character have it advantages and also drawbacks. But in the same time it is balanced so the character is not overpowered and still has to struggle. It is very well thought through!
Love the book series and can recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy books!

Great book, but not necessarily for everyone
If you want to see a main character rushing from one big challenge to the next and completely being changed by his experiences, this might not be the book for you.
If you however want to experience a main character that slowly grows stronger and more experienced because of his limitations, while still being true to his previous self, this might be a great listen for you.
I really like the story and characters, you really start to get used to the characters and the decisions they do. The story itself is not too deep and rather light (it really reminds me of a light novel). In my opinion however this book is good especially because of its slow story & progression, this allows for the interpersonal connections and minor character developments to really shine and feel "life-like" (as much as it is possible in a magic setting with monster, gods and demons around).
The "side quests" are the great thing about this book. I would even say that a faster progression would have hurt the book overall.
The speaker makes this even more worthwhile to listen to, as some of the voices he does are especially noteworthy and really fit the characters adding an additional touch to it and making the experience overall more enjoyable

Soundeffects...
... spoken out loud are the only thing bugging me a little. All the BOOM, CRASH, ZIP, POW reminds me of old batmancomics. The rest I like^^

Worth it
Very well written and Travis performes as well as usual.
